Hong Hao

Born in Beijing, 1965 and graduated from Printmaking Department of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1989, Hong Hao is currently living and working in Beijing. As one of the important member of the development progress of China Contemporary art, Hong Hao’s artistic exploration has always been closely related to the changes of Times. Hong Hao’s creative works cover photography, painting, installation, behavior art, etc. From the beginning of 1990’s, Hong Hao started his work by means of reconstructing the world map, scanning his daily consumptions to make his unique response to various phenomena and problems due to the repid development of material and capital in China.Hong Hao’s art works have been collected by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York),  Boston Museum Of Fine Arts, J. Paul Getty Museum (Los Angeles)，National Gallery of Canada, British Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, (London).
