Kaito Itsuki

Kaito Itsuki was born in Sapporo, Japan in 1993 and currently resides in Tokyo. Kaito combines bold colors with elastic narratives, in which humans, animals, and imagined creatures undergo transformations, becoming accepted and embraced. Growing up in Sapporo, Hokkaido in the early 2000s, Kaito witnessed the expanding possibilities of the World Wide Web, which led to an explosion of visual materials. With limited exposure to art during her formative years, her artistic inspiration draws from an indiscriminate archive of images and the vast information they contain.
