PIE Tiaojun

In his artistic practice, he often focuses on marginal and overlooked materials. Memes, everyday industrial objects, consumer symbols, text, and metaphors are recurring mediums and materials in his work. Born in Jinzhou in 1994, he graduated from the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts and currently works in Beijing. In 2024, he presented his solo project “Vaseline as a Sealant” at Plate Space, Beijing. In 2023, he participated in group exhibitions including “Capture” at Platform China, Beijing; “Player Art Festival” at Tank Shanghai, Shanghai; and “The Journey of Images—Plastic Spam?” at ART WHY GALLERY, Shanghai. In 2022, he exhibited in “Lu Flow Lu Flow” at Blue Roof Museum, Chengdu.
