Stephen Gleadow

Stephen Gleadow is an emerging artist from the United States living and working in Beijing China.  His work includes various modes of practice including, painting, sculpture, installation, photography and film/video .His work continues to reference a backdrop of scientific, historical and spiritual concepts and employs an extensive experimentation with materials and configurations of found objects and artifacts. While maintaining a more universal connection to the language of abstraction, his latest work synthesizes his material surroundings and experiences as an artist working in China. He is active in the Beijing creative scene, intermittently contributing as an independent curator, and creative director on various art and design projects.
